Add simple temperature tracking points along the harness near high-current connection sections, so you can spot abnormal overheating long before the excess heat melts or deforms nearby insulation. Overheating from loose terminals is one of the most overlooked causes of sudden insulation failure, and early temperature alerts let you fix connection issues before permanent damage happens.
Avoid overloading any single wire in the DSP harness beyond its rated current capacity, as excess current generates steady extra heat that accelerates insulation aging at a much faster rate than normal use.
